The Harlem Jazz Orchestra, or simply 'Harlem' as it is commonly known, is an exciting vintage big band specialising in the music from the 'Harlem Renaissance. - roughly 1928 - 38.
The band is led by the internationally acclaimed master of growl/plunger trombone, Bob Hunt - formerly Musical Director of The Big Chris Barber Band and the famous show 'A Night at the Cotton Club'.
Hosted by the effervescent vocalist, Sarah Spencer, the 13-piece orchestra, containing the very best musicians in the idiom, presents the most authentic recreation of the music of Ellington, Calloway, Henderson etc, in Europe.
Doors/Bars open at 7.00pm, concert starts at 8.00pm
